Ophthalmic Technician, NY, NY Very high end clientele.
One Ophthalmologist, 2 ODs, 4 front desk staff, 1 optician.
Work up patients for OD
Skilled in Tonometry (applanation and tonopen), OCT (anterior and posterior segment), Visual Field Testing, Pachymetry,
Manual and Auto refraction, Optos Photos (including peripheral photos), lipiscan, pentacam, prepare patients for office lasers, blephex and lipiflow, auto lensometer, scribe. EMR MDI.
Assist optician with checking lenses, open rooms in the morning, help admin on occasion. These are skills we can teach.
Hours will vary Monday through Friday. July and Aug clinic hours are Tues - Thurs.
Start time is either 8:15 or 9:00 depending on type of schedule. No weekends.
Office pays a flat amount for health insurance, 11 plans to pick from, 3 weeks vacation, 6 sick days annually, summer Fridays, major holidays off, long and short term disability, life ins, 401K profit sharing plan.
